Child and Family Specialist (CFS) for Wraparound Program


  • The Wraparound Training and Certification

  • The position is field based/home based. A reliable car with insurance is required in order to provide services in the field. 

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) skills required.

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Counseling or a closely related field with at least two years relevant experience. Master's Degree preferred.

  • Experience working with high risk children and families and the Department of Children and Family Services' Wraparound Program is required.

The successful candidate must also have the following attributes:

  • Well-organized, responsible, reliable, self-sufficient.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Flexibility.

  • "Can do" attitude and a sense of humor.

  • Able to work in a team of diverse roles, disciplines, experiences and backgrounds.

  • Team building, facilitation and documentation skills required.

  • Passion for our mission.

  • IMCES is on-call 24/7 for emergencies; position requires rotation for on-call duty.

  • The candidate must be a committed individual with a high level of professional ethics and relevant technical skills and experience.

Please note that the ability to manage highly stressful situations is a prerequisite for this position, as stress is inherent in working with individuals with mental health and emotional conditions.
